Flights: Austin (AUS) to San Juan, Puerto Rico (SJU) $268 round-trip

[08/31/2013 @ 02:57 PM] This fare was last seen alive on Expedia / Orbitz.
[10/24/2013 @ 08:44 PM] JetBlue has matched Delta’s sale.

This is the best price that I’ve seen “Mid / High Season” tickets to San Juan since I’ve started posting in Escape Houston. It leaves from Austin, but it’s worth the drive because the best flight from Houston is $370, 13 hours of travel, and routes out of Austin anyways.

Flights from Austin (AUS) to San Juan, Puerto Rico (SJU) are $268 round-trip on Delta. Requires 14-day advance purchase, no last minute bookings for flights leaving on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday.

Note: Flights at this price are harder to find in the “High season” months of November to January, but they are there if you’re not picky on the days you leave. You’ll need to dig for them though. I’m not a fan of peak seasons in most places, as there are more tourists and everything is more expensive.
