Well, it looks like United and American Airlines are having a small bidding war on Chinese destinations right now. Round-trip flights from Houston (IAH) to Beijing, China (PEK) are $814 right now. I’m not sure how long they’ll keep at it, so if any of these destinations interest you book quickly.
Of the two carriers, United has better routing to PEK right now so you should probably fly on them unless you are building status with American.
I didn’t notice this until after I had posted this, but it looks like that this route will require an overnight layover on some dates, so if you do (or don’t) want that, you’ll need to adjust your days accordingly.
