If you’re trying to get cheap flights from Houston (IAH) to Hong Kong (HKG) you still have a couple of options:
- Asiana via Incheon (ICN) and Los Angeles (LAX).
- Air Canada via Toronto (YYZ) Montreal (YUL) or Vancouver (YVR).
These options aren’t as good as the United fare with stopovers which was available last month when this was originally posted, but these fares are still pretty decent. The Air Canada routes require a layover of at least 10-hours in either Vancouver (YVR) or Toronto (YYZ) which is not a bad thing if you don’t mind spending at least a night in one of those cities. The Asiana route is more straight forward, with 2 stops of about two and a half hours each. Mileage accrual for the Asiana flight is 70%. Keep that in mind if miles are important to you.
