Flights from Houston (IAH) to Mumbai, India (BOM) are $906 on British Airways. To make things a bit more interesting, it appears that the fare basis code on this route allows a free stopover in the UK. If you wanted to hang out in London for a few weeks before checking out Mumbai, India; this seems like a good way to do it.
