United and Southwest Airlines have gotten into a price matching war. Flights from Houston (IAH or HOU) to Boston (BOS) are $165 for the nonstop round-trip. Southwest flies our of Hobby. United departs IAH.
Those of you who follow this blog may remember the last time this route was on sale. Back in November United and JetBlue pushed the price down to $125. So it may actually be worth while to wait and see if JetBlue joins in and tries to undercut everyone here.
Note: Southwest Airlines does not publish their fares to any Online travel agency, you must go to Southwest in order to book. That’s just how they like to do things.
