There is a new offer for the Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card and it’s the best we’ve seen historically. Now earn 75,000 Miles and a one-time $250 Capital One Travel credit to use in your first cardholder year once you spend $4,000 on purchases within the first 3 months of account opening. We see this being worth about $1,000 in travel, which is better than the previous offer which didn’t have this $250 travel credit.

Our personal opinions about this card:

• This card is similar to the Chase Sapphire and Amex Green cards and this current bonus offer is really good when compared to the current offers on those competing cards. However, while it’s a good card with a good bonus, it doesn’t quite stack up in terms of utility. We find that Chase and Amex have better hotel and airline partners that you can transfer points to.
• The current Capital One transfer partners are Aeromexico, Air Canada, Air France, KLM, TAP, Avianca, British Airways, Cathay Pacific, Emirates, Etihad, EVA, Finnair, jetBlue, Qantas, Singapore Airlines, Turkish, Virgin Atlantic, Choice Hotels, and Wyndham.
• The 2x miles per dollar on any purchase is a really good perk that can compliment your other cards. You should funnel all of the spend that you don’t have a 2X or higher bonus on with your other cards into this card.

This card has the following bonus categories:

• Get unlimited 2X miles per dollar on every purchase, every day. 
• Get 5X miles on hotels, vacation rentals, and rental cars booked through Capital One Travel.

There are a few things to point out about this deal:

• Historically, this current offer matches the previous best offer seen.

• You will likely be denied if you have applied for and received any other Capital One card within the past 6 months.

• Existing or previous cardmembers are not eligible for this product if they have received a new cardmember bonus for this product in the past 48 months.
