United, Korean Air and American Airlines are offering discount airfare from Houston (IAH) to Hong Kong (HKG) round-trip for $610 with a connection. Flights April to May 12 and August 21 to December 05.

The United fare allows for stopovers in the region for $100 each. This means you should be able to visit both Hong Kong and Tokyo for only $730. Here’s an example itinerary which spends a week in each city for $730: IAH-HKG-NRT-IAH on Orbitz.
