Interjet Launches Nonstop Service to Monterrey, Mexico Oct. 23

Interjet is set to launch Nonstop service from Houston (IAH) to Monterrey, Mexico starting on October 23rd. This added competition has already brought down the cost of flights between these two destinations with United slashing the price of their route just a few days ago. The nonstop service runs between Monterrey and Houston twice a day Monday through Friday, and once a day on Saturday and Sunday.

Interjet is offering an introductory rate of $249 round-trip now through Sept. 16 for flights scheduled between Oct. 23 and Nov. 9. You can find more details on this offer on Interjet’s website.

“We are excited to add Houston to our growing list of destinations, and are certain that this relationship with Bush Intercontinental will benefit not only our company and the Houston Airport System, but our growing number of customers, as well.” -Interjet CEO José Luis Garza [ref: fly2houston]

Interjet has a fleet size of 51 aircraft and currently serves 47 destinations via their Mexico City and Toluca hubs. A full route map is available here: [Interjet routes].
