There are Nonstop, round-trip flights available from Los Angeles (LAX) to Honolulu (HNL), Maui (OGG), and Kona (KOA) for $398 on many major carriers right now. It’s possible to re-position into Los Angeles (LAX) from Houston (IAH / HOU) on most TUE/WED in January to early-March for $108-$113 via United or Southwest Airlines. If you combine these two separate round-trip tickets, you can get from Houston to Hawaii (HNL / OGG / KOA) for $510 with a connection in Los Angeles.
Read the booking instructions carefully. If you’re not familiar with how to string two separate round-trips together, then you should pass on this deal. Failure to properly handle baggage and flight times can leave you in a really bad spot if you don’t know what you’re doing.

Note: Turkish discount fare isn’t available in April or May and it doesn’t price on most booking sites.

American Airlines has round-trip flights from Houston (IAH) to Sydney (SYD) starting at $1095 with a connection. Flights MON to THU from February to June. 7-day minimum stay required. This destination usually prices from $1420 to $1600.
This looks likes American Airlines response to the United sale to Sydney and Melbourne out of Dallas that ended earlier today.
Note: The outbound flight has a layover that is a bit longer than I like. 4 hours and 50 mins, but the price is the lowest I’ve seen it.

Note: Fort Lauderdale is on United and seems to have less availability. If you don’t find the dates you want in Miami, try Fort Lauderdale, these airports are only a 30 minute drive away from each other.
Update: Southwest seems to be available on most TUE/WED/SAT flights. Use their “Flexible Date” tool to see a calendar of fares on their site.

Multiple Airlines (BA/AA/UA/Others) are offering round-trip flights from Texas (HOU / DFW / AUS / SAT) to Cities in the UK for $733-$768. Flights from November to March 2016. Flights to London are NONSTOP (except out of SAT).
Note: This is especially interesting because right now there aren’t any effective blackouts on this fare. This means you can book around Christmas, and New Years without paying the hefty premium. If you’re wanting to fly to London for New Years Eve on a nonstop flight, this is a really good price to do it for.
