ZIPAIR Tokyo has round-trip flights from Los Angeles (LAX) to Tokyo (NRT) for $434, NONSTOP. Flights October to November. Extended weekends available. Origin/Destination reversible. No Thanksgiving dates.
Some small OTAs on Skyscanner and Google have this for as low as $414; which is cheaper than the airline. If you plan on booking there, beware of any site that charges a fee to cancel a ticket within the 24-hour “free” period. Use unknown booking sites at your own risk.
Other cities may be able to make use of this deal by booking a flight into LAX to catch the NRT departure. If you plan on doing this make sure to give yourself ample time for getting your bags and making the connection. It may be best to arrive the day before in some cases.
This may be worth paying for a flight into LAX to then catch the flight into NRT. Either arrive the day before or give yourself about 4-hours of connection time when planning the repositioning flight.
