Eva Air has round-trip flights from Houston (IAH) to Chiang Mai, Thailand (CNX) for $610-$644 with a connection. Flights from mid-August to November and also January and February. None in December.
Note: This has a 5-hour connection on the return, but since there are no shorter routes on any other airline, this is the most direct way to get back. Also, TPE is a really good airport to sleep in with free showers, and quiet sleeping areas.
Note: The “V” fare class does not accrue miles.
