Round-trip flights from Houston (HOU / IAH) to multiple destinations in China are on sale at the moment. Airfare starts at $714 with either one or two connections. Delta is the operating airline. There is a stopover component for this fare basis, but it’s not very useful since it will only allow you to do the stop at the American gateways.

There are other deals to Hong Kong right now, but this one is the least expensive. Korean Air is offering cheap round-trip flights from Houston (IAH) to Hong Kong (HKG) with a layover in Incheon (ICN). Airfare is $748 and allows a stopover in Seoul / Incheon for $100 extra.

It’s rare to see a cheaper flight from Austin (AUS) to Hong Kong (HKG) than out of Houston (IAH) but apparently it happens now and then. Flights from Austin (AUS) to Hong Kong (HKG) are $818 round-trip, 1-stop. Fare allows two stopovers, one each direction and a free open-jaw!
