American Airlines has round-trip flights from Houston (IAH) to Las Vegas (LAS) for $124 with a connection. $62 each way. Cheapest flights TUE/WED April to May. Flights on SAT are +$20 more.
Note: If you depart Saturday with a Tuesday return it ends up being $145 ($62 + $83). Pretty good for an extended weekend.

Southwest has round-trip flights from Houston (HOU) to Las Vegas (LAS) for $198, NONSTOP. $99 each way. Flights April to May. Departures SUN-WED / Returns TUE-FRI. Saturday departures available for only +$20 more.
Note: You may be able to find a cheaper fare on a bare bones airline like Spirit or Frontier, but it will probably cost more if you factor in bag fees.

Frontier Airlines has round-trip flights from Houston (IAH) to Las Vegas (LAS) or Orlando (MCO) for *$38 / $58, NONSTOP. That’s $19 / $29 each way. Flights January and February. Fare allows departures on most days, except Friday and returns on most days, except Sunday and Monday.
*Frontier Airlines charges a checked/carry-on bag fee of $30/$35 each way. This fee is avoidable if you can pack what you need in a personal item such as a small backpack.

Frontier is offering round-trip flights from Houston (IAH) to Las Vegas (LAS) for $78*, NONSTOP ($39 each way). Must use coupon code “5OFF” at checkout. Flights October 25 to December 16. Blackout Nov 20 – Dec 01. No Friday departures, No Monday returns.
Other round-trip destinations are also on sale, such as Denver for $38, Phoenix for $58, and San Francisco for $98.

To celebrate opening new service to Las Vegas, Frontier is having a flash sale. Nonstop, round-trip flights from Austin (AUS) to Las Vegas (LAS) are $98 ($49 each way) right now.
The Platinum Hotel in Las Vegas has 950 Sq. foot suites on sale for $106 per night in October. Suite includes full kitchen, living room, and a balcony. This sale pairs really well with the $112 flights from Austin (AUS) to Las Vegas (LAS) leaving October 5th and returning on the 10th via Allegiant.
