Alitalia and SkyTeam partners have round-trip flights from Houston (HOU/IAH) to Milan, Italy (MXP/LIN) for $495-$513 with one or two connections. Flights from April to May.
Note: You may be able to pick this up for $463 if you can handle doing two airport transfers. In our opinion, it will cost more to do that than buying the slightly more expensive fares that have better routing.

NOTE: This fare seems to have different prices, flight times and availability on most booking sites. I think Orbitz and Travelocity have the best combination of prices and availability, but you may want to do a quick comparison of prices via BookingBuddy before committing to purchase, just to make sure. Delta offers these flights with two connections on their website for about $471, but it’s possible to find flights with one connection on the sites I’ve mentioned above.

Delta and SkyTeam partners have round-trip flights from Houston (IAH) to several cities in Europe on sale for $529-$711, including flights to Paris (CDG) and Amsterdam (AMS) NONSTOP. Flights from September to May 2016. No Saturday departures on most routes.

[08/28/2015 @ 10:51 PM] It looks like several destinations have gone back online, but in the $760, or about $60 to $100 more than the sale that ended recently. Price is good, but not good enough to add this back to the bookable deals list. If you’re wanting to go and missed the sale yesterday then this may have some utility for you.
American Airlines has round-trip tickets from Houston (IAH) to several cities in Europe on sale for $598-$657, with a connection. Holiday Blackouts apply.
Here’s an idea: Fly to Istanbul then to Venice then take the train to Rome before flying home for $774 + $49 for it all. This post highlights how adding an open-jaw to your itinerary really opens up what you can do in Europe. Don’t just mope around in one city!

Round-trip airfare from Houston (IAH) to Milan, Italy (MXP) is $818 on United right now. Fare doesn’t have any nifty stopover component and the itinerary has a layover in Newark (EWR).

Flights to Milan, Italy (MXP) from Houston (IAH) or Austin (AUS) are $876 for flights in October. JetBlue and Emirates seem to have the best and lowest route for AUS – MXP while Turkish Airlines has the best route for IAH – MXP.
