Amex has recently increased the welcome offer for several of the co-branded Delta SkyMiles. This current offer is +25,000 higher than the best offer found on 02/06/25 for the Reserve card. This offer ends 10/29/2025. Other cards match the Bonus Miles of the best offer found on 02/06/25.

This means that if you’re planning to pick up any of these Delta SkyMiles cards, it’s probably a good time to do, as we haven’t seen offers this high in the previous 7 months.

There is a new offer for the Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card and it’s the best we’ve seen historically. Now earn 75,000 Miles and a one-time $250 Capital One Travel credit to use in your first cardholder year once you spend $4,000 on purchases within the first 3 months of account opening. These new offers are 10,000 more than what they were previously last month. Of these offerings, we think that the United Explorer Card has the best perk to annual fee ratio because we find a lot of value in being able to use it to book on United Basic Economy and get the free first bag perk with priority boarding. Those two perks alone negate a lot of the downside to basic economy.

There is a new offer for the Southwest Rapid Rewards® Plus Credit Card and the Southwest Rapid Rewards® Priority Credit Card. Earn a $400 statement credit and 40,000 Southwest Rapid Rewards points after you spend $3,000 on purchases in the first 4 months from account opening.

This offer is competitive to the previous offers for this card. The previous high was an 85,000 point offer which was last seen on Jun 5th, 2024. We consider this offer to be competitive because a $400 statement credit is worth about 40,000 points if you value 1 point being equal to about 1 cent. When you add the statement credit together with the 40,000 points you get for opening the account, it is roughly the same value in our opinion.

If you have been looking to get a Chase Sapphire Card, now may be a good time to pick one up due to an additional statement credit bonus for new card members. Get up to $300 in statement credit on Chase Travel℠ purchases within your first year and also earn 60,000 bonus points after $4,000 in purchases within the first 3 months of card membership. The offer that was previously running did not include any statement credit bonus.

When compared to previous offers such as the May 2023 offer of 80,000 points or the May 2024 offer of 75,000 points this new October 2024 offer is a good value. Hypothetically, if you were to convert $300 to points at a penny per point, you would end up with 30,000 + the 60,000 sign-up offer.

You may be able to get a higher point offer by applying in-person at a local Chase branch office in person. There is a 70,000 + $300 offer available in branch only, but the spending requirements are higher, $6,000 in 6 months.

Amex has recently increased the welcome offer for the Marriott Bonvoy Business® American Express® Card to 5 Free Night Awards after spending $8,000 in the first 6-months of card membership. The previous offer was 3 nights. Each bonus Free Night Award has a max redemption value of 50,000 Marriott Bonvoy Points. Which means that if you maximize where you stay, this welcome bonus is equivalent to 250,000 Marriott Bonvoy Points. Resort fees & terms apply.

This card has an annual fee of $125 so we can only recommend this card if you’re a Marriott loyalist that can utilize the card perks enough to offset the annual fee.
