American Airlines has round-trip flights from Houston (IAH) to Tulum (TQO) for $261 with a connection. Flights August to November. No Thursday departures. Most departures/returns are on Saturday. Very few extended weekends available. Origin/Destination reversible. No Thanksgiving dates.

AVOID the Spirit fares that are available at $222 into CUN(not TQO). Those are NOT a deal at that price because you will have to pay an additional $140 for a carry-on a bag. That fare will only be worthwhile if you can fit everything you need in a small personal item like a laptop bag or small backpack. Keep in mind that Spirit gate agents are very strict on bag sizes. Also note that Spirit flights have smaller seat pitch.
